- The ECVN Diploma Examination 2027 will be held on 2nd and 3rd February 2027. The ECVN diploma examination in 2027 will be held at two sites. Residents trained in continental Europe will be examined at the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Bologna. Residents trained in the United Kingdom will be examined at the School of Veterinary Medicine and Science, University of Nottingham. If you are non-EU and non-UK resident, please contact the chair of the examination committee to state which of the exam sites you would prefer.
- The intention to sit the examination must now be submitted through your profile page. Once your Credentials have been approved, a dedicated box will appear on your profile, allowing you to submit your intention to sit. Please upload, as supporting documentation, a PDF copy of the confirmation email sent by the Credentials Committee confirming the approval of your credentials. We also recommend sending an email to the Chair of the Examination Committee to confirm your intention to sit and ensure that your application has been properly recorded. Once your intention to sit has been submitted online, you will be able to pay the examination fees online through your profile page. Please ensure that all steps are completed within the official deadlines specified in the ECVN Training Guidelines.

Once your Credentials have been validated, you must notify the Examination Committee of your intention to sit the examination. To do so, go to your profile and complete the required information in the “Exam” section. You will then be able to proceed with the payment.
