A ECVN Diplomate or Board Eligible Neurologists for a Multi-Disciplinary Referral Center in Lyon / France
The OnlyVet veterinary hospital is looking for a second full time ECVN or ACVIM-Neurology board certified or board eligible neurologist to join our team.
OnlyVet is a veterinary emergency/critical care/specialty hospital. We offer specialty services in Internal Medicine, Surgery, Neurology, Cardiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Dermatology, Exotic Animals medicine. Our team already includes 13 board certified or eligible specialists (4 Internists, 3 Surgeons, 1 Radiologist, 1 Dermatologist, 1 Specialist in zoological medicine, 1 Neurologist, 1 Oncologist and 1 Specialist in behavioral medicine), as well as veterinarians highly experienced in cardiology and ophthalmology.
Our current hospital is very recent, it has 11 fully exam rooms, a dedicated ICU and a treatment area with 4 fully equipped treatment tables, 3 surgery suites, an in house Idexx pathology laboratory, an endoscopy suite, as well as a dedicated conference room, break room and library/working office for specialists.
The Diagnostic Imaging service at OnlyVet is equipped with a High-field MRI (1.5 Tesla), a new 16 slice Canon Aquilion helical CT, a new digital radiography, a Canon Aplio a450 ultrasound system, and a GE Vivid E 95 cardiovascular ultrasound system with EchoPAC and GE portable ultrasound system.
The clinical activity at OnlyVet is growing at a very rapid pace, and we have already planned to expand the existing hospital at the beginning of 2023. This will allow us to build dedicated Oncology and Ophthalmology suites, and develop new surgery suites.

Compensation will be in line with other Specialist-level positions. We are flexible and you will be able to adapt your work schedule. Proficiency in French is required. Positions with an immediate starting date as well as later in the year are available; we would also consider fixed term contract arrangements.
Onlyvet is the first privately-owned referral hospital in Lyon. It is purpose-built and in an attractive part of Lyon, close to the French Alps and the South of France. There is easy access to Saint-Exupery airport and to downtown Lyon (20 minutes by car).
