As the head of service you will provide strong and effective clinical leadership to inform business decisions and will be integral to continuing the development of the service including the continuation of our residency programme.

Fitzpatrick Referrals is a world-renowned specialist referral centre based in Surrey, UK within easy reach of the south coast, the vibrancy of London and major airports. The facilities include a Siemens 1.5T MRI and a Toshiba 160 slice CT, both operated by a team of highly skilled radiographers, and electrophysiology. We are the only centre in the world with instant access to design, engineering and rapid manufacture of customised implants for cranial and spinal surgery which are unique to Fitzpatrick Referrals and provide solutions which have been time-proven and are not available elsewhere. 3D printing and in-silico surgical planning is the norm and custom implants are employed on a weekly basis.

We provide excellent inpatient facilities with qualified RVNs and veterinary interns on-site 24/7, a superlative on-site rehabilitation centre with physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and boarded rehabilitation specialists, and we also work closely in collaboration with our colleagues in orthopaedics and anaesthesia. 

The successful applicant will be an ECVN diplomate and will enjoy working in a busy clinical service with a varied caseload including complex surgical cases. Registration with the RCVS and right to work in UK will be required.
