The Role
The
Neurology intern’s principle role is to facilitate the smooth running of the
neurology department. You will be involved in a wide variety of challenging
cases and you will be expected to help with the daily care of all surgical
patients and client communications, participate actively in weekly journal
clubs, and work on a research project towards a peer-reviewed publication.

Counties Veterinary Specialists is a busy multi-disciplinary referral centre
with an approved ECVS residency programme, in the heart of the New Forest. We
are committed to providing a high standard of patient care, with specialist
services in anaesthesia and analgesia, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery,
neurology, cardiology, dermatology, medicine, oncology and imaging.
Applicant Requirements
You must
be RCVS registered and have completed of a Rotating Internship previously. You
will have excellent communication skills - verbal, hand written and electronic
and excellent organisational skills. The ability to work well under pressure in
a fast paced environment is essential. You will be able to prioritise your
workload and deal with emergency situations in a calm, rational and
professional manner.
