We are looking to recruit a Board-Certified Veterinary Neurologist to be based in Valencia Sur Hospital Veterinario.

We are a 24/7 referral veterinary hospital located in the sunny Valencia, Spain. We belong to the large veterinary group AniCura, which has presence in 10 European countries and over 6000 employees. Given to our constant growth we are currently looking for a board-certified neurologist to lead and develop our neurology referral department. The ideal candidate would be a board-certified surgeon with good level of experience, good communication skills and excellent team-player.

Candidates interested in research are encouraged to develop and/or lead research projects during off-clinics time and extensive collaborations with other laboratories, institutions and human hospitals are possible.


Job Summary

The position will be supported by a team of 30 vets and 12 nurses. We have an experienced team of soft tissue surgeons, internists and radiologists. Furthermore, an American and European Diplomate in Diagnostic Image and an European Diplomate in Internal Medicine are part of our team on a FT basis (4 days/week).

We have an onsite 32-slice CT, fluoroscopy, DR, full HD laparoscopy/endoscopy/arthroscopy system (with VITOM), full in house laboratory, a dedicated pet rehabilitation/physiotherapy/hydrotherapy referral alongside an advanced level of equipment in over 1.500 sqm. We are also in the process to acquire an MRI.
