Residency in neurology and neurosurgery at Centre Hospitalier Vétérinaire ADVETIA, France (2019-2022)

Centre Hospitalier Vétérinaire ADVETIA is seeking a dynamic veterinarian with great interest in neurology and neurosurgery to undertake a three-year ECVN conforming residency program (accreditation in progress). During the residency, the resident will work in an exclusively referral multidisciplinary center with many European- and American-boarded specialists (neurology, diagnostic imaging, internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, stomatology, oncology and anesthesia) with advanced on-site facilities (high-field MRI, CT, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, CBCT, laboratory).

The resident will be supervised and work on daily contact with two ECVN diplomates. We are looking for a candidate with a strong knowledge background of general veterinary medicine and ready to work with a busy caseload. Additional experience in internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery will be highly appreciated.

Beginning: July 2019

Entry requirements:


- special interest in neurology and neurosurgery

- 1-year rotating small animal internship or an equivalent experience in private practice. Additional 1-year experience in internal medicine, neurology and neurosurgery would be appreciated.

– Fluent French speaking and writing and a good English speaking and writing level.
