Senior Clinical Training Scholarship in Veterinary Neurology
We are seeking a veterinary graduate with a passion for veterinary neurology, a minimum of two years experience in small animal practice or a one year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery, and who holds or is eligible to hold Membership of the RCVS, to join our veterinary neurology team working alongside two ECVN diploma holders and one other senior clinical training scholar.

Your primary role will be assisting in provision of a veterinary neurology referral service. Training will be centred on aspects of small animal neurology and neurosurgery but you will follow an ECVN-approved Residency programme with provision for time spent on anaesthesia, internal medicine and small animal surgery. Relevant postgraduate experience and evidence of a strong interest in veterinary neurology will be an advantage.

This post is tenable for three years, subject to satisfactory annual review of progress, and is available from August 2013.
Starting stipend (tax free): £17,049 per annum
Out of hours duties (currently 1 in 3) attract an additional stipend.
Shared single accommodation may be available to rent.
