Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Neurology at the University of Liverpool

We are recruiting for a Lecturer/ Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Neurology and Neurosurgery in the Small Animal Teaching Hospital (SATH) of the University of Liverpool, located in the Northwest of England. Currently the team is composed of 4 ECVN Diplomates and 3 residents but looking to expand. We are looking for candidates holding or eligible to obtain a European or American diploma in Veterinary Neurology, enthusiastic about working with students, including supporting undergraduate and postgraduate research projects.

The ideal candidate would have experience of and enthusiasm for teaching, be an ECVN or ACVIM diplomat and have some research experience. Off clinic time would be discussed at interview and the successful candidate would receive CPD support, 6 weeks of holiday in addition to Bank Holiday entitlement and a generous pension scheme. The SATH is a very dynamic hospital, with excellent facilities and supported by a large and varied multidisciplinary team of specialists. In the same campus there are also busy Equine and Farm animal units and exposure to neurology cases in these hospitals is generally encouraged.
