17 january 2012 Let's brainstorm: Care of the Neurological Patient.
3 january 2012 Closing date: 31st January 2012. (Ref: CTS/SAN/12). The RVC seeks to appoint two enthusiastic Senior Clinical Training Scholars (Resident) in Veterinary Neurology and Neurosurgery. Scholars will receive supervised clinical training in medical and surgical neurology while working within the college’s hospitals. Clinical responsibilities include primary care of small animal patients, and availability for consultation on large and exotic animal species. Scholars will be involved in the clinical teaching of interns and veterinary students. Scholars are expected undertake clinical research in a related topic and submit research publications based on their work. Scholars will also be enrolled into a Master of Veterinary Medicine (MVetMed) programme. Our three-year programme fulfills the residency training requirements necessary for admission to the European College of Veterinary Neurology. All scholarships are open to veterinary graduates holding a qualification registerable with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons. Candidates should preferably have completed a rotating internship or have equivalent practice experience. 29 december 2011 Dick White Referrals (DWR) is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to undertake a three-year ECVN conforming residency in neurology/neurosurgery. The program will comprise a major training in small animal neurology/neurosurgery, clinical research, informal undergraduate teaching and external rotations in equine neurology. It is anticipated that the candidate will become eligible to sit the European College of Veterinary Neurology (ECVN) Diploma examination. Application should include a letter of intent, curriculum vitae and two letters of reference.
